Student Job Support Agent (Dutch Native)

Job description

We’re looking for students who want a job next to their studies to help us as a Contact Center . Support Agent in our Amsterdam office. You’ll be responsible for helping our customers with questions about the Nmbrs software.

Although we only sell our HR-payroll software in The Netherlands and in Sweden, our goal is to expand to 20 countries by 2025. The contact center plays a huge part in it because it’s the first point of contact for the customer.

How we work

We have no managers at Nmbrs and we get work done by organising people into multi-function teams. Although the Contact Center is the exception to this rule, we still work as independently as possible.

We have a big group of enthusiastic students and, as a Contact Centre Support agent, you’ll be part of a team of 10 people. If you don’t know anything about payroll, don’t worry. Not many people do. During your first month, you'll have a buddy to help you with onboarding where you’ll learn everything you need to know. You’ll also have access to workshops given by experienced colleagues to share knowledge to all support agents throughout the year.

Although you can always ask your colleagues for help, after your first month, you should be able to work independently and use your problem-solving skills to clarify the different technical questions our customers will bring you.

What does the job look like

08:45 - You arrive at our beautiful Amsterdam office

08:50 - You head to our restaurant to make yourself a nice breakfast

09:00 - Lines open at the Contact Center. You’ll keep an eye on incoming calls and emails and escalate to 2nd line if necessary. With the help of our own knowledge base, your own experience and your colleague’s help, you’ll help our clients with their technical questions about the Nmbrs software.

12h00 - Lunch time! (it may vary according to other support agents’ schedule)

15:00 - Snack time brought to you by our dear Marcia and Lillian

17:00 - lines close and you get to enjoy the rest of the day
